Activate your license
Kitly needs a license before you can use it. There is no trial mode. Until you activate, the app shows a full-screen "Activate Kitly" card and nothing else.
Get a device code
The card walks you through it: "Sign in at kitly.fun, open Account > Devices, name this machine, and paste the code it gives you below."
- Sign in to your account at kitly.fun.
- Open Account > Devices.
- Name the machine you're activating (your workstation, your laptop, whatever helps you tell them apart later).
- Copy the device code the site gives you.
Don't have a license yet? The card's Get one link takes you to kitly.fun/pricing.
Enter the code
- Paste the code into the field on the activation card. It expects the
XXXX-XXXXformat and uppercases what you type automatically. - Click Activate. The button reads "Activating..." while Kitly checks the code.
Once the code is accepted, the card disappears and the onboarding tour begins.
Moving to a new machine (releasing a seat)
A device code ties your license seat to one machine. When you retire a workstation or move to a new one, release the seat first so you can activate elsewhere.
- Open Settings (the gear icon).
- Find the Device section.
- Click Release this device.
The same section has a Get License button if you're setting up a machine that doesn't have a seat yet.
Activation problems?
If the code is rejected, check that you copied it completely and that the seat isn't still claimed by another machine. More help in Troubleshooting.

You're activated. Time to create your first project.
