Mixer
The Mixer is a panel docked into the Edit sub-mode, toggled from the toolbar. It gives every non-video track its own channel strip: fader, pan, mute, solo, and a small effects rack.
Channel strips
One strip per audio track, in timeline order, plus a Master strip pinned at the end. Each strip has:
- A vertical fader and level meter, ranging from -24 dB to +12 dB.
- A pan slider.
- Mute and Solo buttons.
- An effects rack, up to eight slots.
+ Add effect opens a picker with the four built-in types plus any effects a plugin has registered. Click a slot's colored dot to bypass it without removing it. Hovering a slot reveals reorder and remove controls.

The Limiter is approximate
It's a tuned compressor set up to behave like a limiter, not a true lookahead brickwall. Leave headroom rather than relying on it to catch every peak.
A plugin effect whose plugin isn't currently installed or enabled shows as inert on the strip rather than disappearing, so you know it's there and why it isn't doing anything.
Master strip
The Master strip is a monitoring trim, nothing more. It's session-only: it resets every time you reopen the project, and it never touches export. A render or a Package always uses the tracks' own levels, so turning the master down to hear something quietly never shows up in the delivered file.
